Frequently Asked Questions

WALL REPAIR PATCH

What type of texture can I use the wall repair patch on?

With two patches in every package you are covered for any type of texture imaginable. One patch is for smooth texture like wood grain, and the other is for heavier applications like knockdown.

Is it a permanent repair that will last a lifetime?

Yes, the aluminum patch is rustproof and the adhesive backing creates a lifetime bond to any clean, dry surface.

Do I need to prepare the damaged surface prior to applying wall patch?

All loose debris should be removed and the surface must be clean and dry before application. Dust and debris will prevent the patch from adhering firmly which may inhibit the quality and durability of the repair.

QUICK FIX PATCH

For what type of repairs can Quick Fix be used?

Quick Fix is so versatile and durable its uses are endless. Here are just a few examples of where it can be used: furniture, tools, boat hulls, car panels to cover rust holes, gutters, and even an airplane fuselage. The list goes on and on…

Does the patch form easily to curved surfaces?

Yes, while Quick Fix is extremely strong, it also molds easily to most any surface without excessive strength or pressure. To push the patch into tight corners a putty knife may be required to replicate the exact angle.

How much load may be applied to a repaired joint?

If the damaged item is broken in two, Quick Fix can fuse the area completely and form a permanent bond. Items such as brooms, chairs, and other light duty fixtures only require one patch to repair a broken joint, but items that bear a heavier load may require the area to be wrapped with multiple patches spaced across the break to restore structural integrity.
